Workshop Overview:
Each 2-hour workshop combines mindfulness, sound healing, and immersion in creative expression exercises to create a restorative and engaging experience. Sessions are suitable for all participants, regardless of prior experience with art, mindfulness or music. All materials will be provided and are tailored to your requirements.
Example Workshop Structure:
Introduction and Intention Setting (10 minutes)
Overview of mindfulness principles and group intention setting.
Guided Mindfulness Practice (10 minutes)
Grounding exercises to deepen awareness of ones own body and mind, calming the nervous system.
Sound Healing Journey (40 minutes)
Immersive sound experience using instruments such as crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, rain sticks, steel tongue drums to promote deep relaxation and energetic balance. Participants are provided with mats, pillows and blankets to relax and allow the sound and vibrations to travel through their body.
Creative Reflection (50 minutes)
Expressive arts activity (drawing, journaling, clay, collaborative music-making) to integrate insights and emotions from the sound experience. One guided activity will be included in the workshop. Activities are guided with a given intention or thought to work with.
Closing (10 minutes)
Reflection to encourage connection, gratitude, and mindful closure.
